Almost all of the Jewish students had heard clear, unambiguously antisemitic and violent language, sometimes directed at them, police, or school administrators. This included chants of “intifada,” “Zionists die,” “settlers go home,” and some I won't repeat on social media.

Tonight, I pray for the Jewish students, studying for exams while tuning out their classmates' misguided cries for intifada. Allowing the normalization of antisemitism and violent rhetoric on our campuses or anywhere else is reprehensible and dangerous.
