10 years ago Heart of Midlothian FC exited administration & set itself on the journey to the UKs largest fan owned club.

On this 150th anniversary year the club goes from strength to strength and will play European league football again next season.

Today we remember John Smith who died thirty years ago. I remember being with him the night before he died when he ended his speech with 'all we ask is the opportunity to serve.' John's whole life was a testimony to the nobility of public service.
