One last round of showers and thunderstorms will move across the area today. While the threat for severe storms is low, a few strong storms capable of hail and gusty winds are possible.

Keep an eye out for flooding as some roadways may be impacted. Turn around, don’t drown!

Strong storms are moving towards our area. Some of these storms may become severe. The primary threat is large hail, but tornadoes, damaging winds, and flooding are all possible. The severe weather threat will continue into the overnight hours.

We know all eyes are on the sky today 😎 but there’s more happening than the eclipse. (Safety first! Don’t forget to use solar safe eyewear.)

Severe weather is possible in our area later today into the evening and will continue into the overnight hours.

Scattered severe thunderstorms are expected to develop later today. The greatest potential for very large hail (up to 3in diameter) & an isolated tornado is shown in red portion.

Make sure you have multiple ways to receive warnings & TAKE ACTION if one is issued.
