I honestly don't know on which planet the Tories thought Susan Hall, who is basically Andrea Leadsom played by a drugged pantomime understudy, was going to win an election to run one of the greatest cities in the world. It's really peculiar actually, bordering on the deranged.

The reason London has become the worst nightmare of the hard right is very straightforward.

People from different backgrounds not only live together and mix together, but they enjoy doing so.

That's the future of Britain, which is an apocalyptic vision, sure, if you're a bigot.

This wasn’t a “close result” the Tories would want you to believe.

Today is the anniversary of the murder of 24yr old Altab Ali, who was killed in a racist attack in 1978.

Altab’s murder marked a major turning point in the fight against racism in the east end & beyond.

We honour his memory by standing united against all forms of hatred.
