I support the today’s section 706 Report, which updates our broadband benchmark to better align with consumer expectations. More work is required, however, to ensure availability of advanced telecommunications capabilities, including ensuring ACP is funded going forward.

Alerting the public to a missing or endangered person is vital to ensuring their safe recovery. But our nation's patchwork of alerts has allowed people to fall through the gaps. Today's proposed rulemaking will help close those gaps and establish one unified alert system.
