Today the State Capitol welcomed the Perris High School band which performed a superb concert on a beautiful and bright sunny Sacramento day. These fine musicians are led by musical director Donald Cerchia who has held this position for over a decade. We’re so proud of you!

Congrats to RiversidePolyHS sophomore Ava DeAnda who successfully defended her state swimming title in the 100-yard freestyle, setting a new state meet record, & brought home the title in the 200-yard freestyle this weekend at the CIF State swimming championship. Way to go Ava!

Wishing each & every Mother a wonderful Mother’s Day. Thank you for all the incredible things you do, the sacrifices you make, & the love that you give. Today I’m thinking about my own Mom, who has been gone for 34 years now. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t miss her.
