💪De-constructing stereotypes: Shana Bashana initiates a shift in perspective, demonstrating that women can excel in technical trades within the infrastructure sector. Last week, TVET experts, decision-makers &private sector representatives met in Karachi to honor 44 young women.

KP Elementary & Secondary Education Department, supported by Bundesentwicklungsministerium & SRSP, is working towards a brighter future for 1 million children.
🏫 District Education Offices in Kohat & Swat launched a drive, enrolling 42 children in local schools! #GIZPakistan GIZ

Mainstreaming TVET: @GIZ and @ADB standardize qualification measures in the construction sector. On-the-job training offers are now required from all companies participating in the bidding for ADB funded tenders. For now, more than 190 trainees benefit from the new regulations.

📢 #TVET Sector Support Programme, funded by EUPakistan & Bundesentwicklungsministerium, signed an MoU w/ Coronet Foods for implementing Workplace-Based Training in 🇵🇰's food industry.
Focus areas are:

Together with National Assembly 🇵🇰 & Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services, #MustehkamParlimaan (@EUPakistan) supported the inaugural National Assembly of Pakistan Strategic Planning 2024-29 meeting. Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq emphasized empowering Standing Committees, evaluating past plans, & boosting youth outreach.

To foster transparent & efficient #LocalGovernance , Local Government & Community Development Punjab, supported by Bundesentwicklungsministerium, trained govt officials & senior district officers on Public Service Ethics & equipped them w/ skills needed to enhance community engagement & deliver services in line w/ citizens's needs.
