Out portable yesterday to enjoy the wonderful UK spring weather - not! It was cold and I got soaked along with all the gear but still had 8 QSOs on 24 / 47 / 76GHz 😀

Out portable yesterday at IO80WU working 122 and 134 GHz with Roger GW8CUB/P on Bloringe mountain.
Dew point was around 0 degrees and running Roger’s high power (3 Milliwatt) at both ends we achieved a new UK record at 67kms 😀

Well, that was impressive Mouser Electronics - an order placed on Monday afternoon 5pm arrived today from the USA! Not so impressive is that the order placed at the same time from Farnell Electronics in Leeds has not arrived yet...

We are on the scrounge for a 70MHz commercial folded dipole too !
