The staff of Lookout Santa Cruz, a tiny 4-year old site created by a longtime newspaper industry analyst, won the 2024 Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Reporting.

The all-hands-on-deck reporting was accomplished by an editorial staff of just 10.
