😺 Friday Africa update-good mews!
She climbed into my lap and stood on my legs about 1 minute until her back legs collapsed. She just snacked on dried sheep's milk and goat treats. She's improving slightly but that's where healing begins! 🐾❤️

The great kitty campout!
Africa and her sister Rasta cuddle together. Affie ate a good dinner, drank well and meowed to be carried to the litterbox. She has bladder control! I held her so she could stand up, wiped her with a damp cloth and brought her back to bed! ❤️sweet dreams!

I had no idea what the outcome of Africa's appointment would be but it seemed hopeless. The vet gave her a 50-50 chance of recovery and I'll do all I can to help her! No more hateful messages please! This kitty is my family. I'll help 100% but I won't let her suffer without hope.

Africa having a bath like any other day. She acts perfectly normal except for not being able to walk.

Africa spends her last hours hanging out in my lap with her favfurite toy, a gift from her Aunty chiamerahCAT . Love let her forget being trapped feral 23 years ago. Her personality is loving and sweet as ever but her back legs won't work. She's been through the best/worst w me.

Africa woke up with her hind legs paralyzed this morning. She was chasing toys last night and meowing with them in her mouth, playing normally. She will be going 🌈 at 2pm today. I'm shattered💔. She eats, drinks, purrs and lives, just can't walk. 😿 Age 23.

Bashira's good news!😻
She had a blood-filled polyp that burst and will heal with meds and a soft food only diet. She was beyond lucky to get a same day appointment 74 miles away. We are thankful beyond words for all the ❤️ and 🙏 from all of you! She's curled up beside me now!😺

She was fine yesterday. Today she's having episodes of rectal bleeding in massive amounts and doesn't want food. She turned down her favorite extra gravy food. She chose this obscure spot to hang out in. Vet tomorrow and probably 🌈 😿
