We're appealing for help to trace a man following an incident on the Blue Bridge near James Cook Hospital, Middlesbrough.

Officers were called at 1.00pm today (25th May) following concerns for a man but he left the scene prior to police arrival.

A man, 57, has appeared in court after being charged with possession of a firearm and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

Officers attended Broadway in Grangetown in the early hours of Friday (24th May).

A man who caused significant injuries to women during two separate attacks has been jailed for more than nine years.
