The Owensboro Board of Commissioners will hold a commission meeting at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17 at 4:00 p.m. in the Commission Chambers located on the 4th floor at City Hall.

Gov. Andy Beshear has ordered flags at all state office buildings to be lowered to half-staff from sunrise Tuesday, Oct. 10, to sunset Friday, Oct. 13, to honor the innocent lives lost during the terrorist attacks in Israel.

Beginning on October 9, RWRA will close East 22nd Street from Veach Road to JR Miller Boulevard for sewer repairs. This work is expected to last three days, pending no delays or inclement weather. Traffic will be detoured appropriately during this closure.

Beginning Wednesday, October 5, RWRA will close East 27th Street from Veach Road to JR Miller Boulevard for sewer repairs. This closure is expected to last 3 days, pending no delays or inclement weather.

Crews will begin removing several trees in York Park and adjacent properties as work continues on the York Ditch Stormwater Project.

York Park will remain open during this project. The basketball court, pickleball courts, and playground will not be impacted.
