Here's some actual man made warming for people to contemplate. This is how Hadley Centre adjusted/manipulated versions of their data record in versions 3, 4 & 5 to produce the appearance of warming that wasn't actually there. This is a crime most places BTW.

Turnover rates of CO2 in the atmosphere & how long CO2 emitted before being reabsorbed by plants etc is always the sticking point. The C14 'bomb pulse' of radioactive C14 following the atmospheric nuclear tests in the 1950's to 1960's gives us our main guide of a maximum of 20+…

As to what the proportion of the increased CO2 in the atmosphere is due to human activities & specifically the use of fossil fuels the ratio of C12 to C13 is what is usually cited. There's more C13 in coal, gas, oil so C13 increases are mostly due to their use.

(1) CO2 has never been shown to have much effect on being able to absorb I/R at the 15nm wavelength beyond 360ppm (< 1% Hug 1998).

Latest UAH for March 24. At a guess it looks like the suspected water vapour pulse into the stratosphere from the Hunga Tonga undersea volcanic eruption is still persisting but it's still too soon to tell.
