Update on the Grimethorpe Incident: The police have issued another update below regarding the recent incident in Grimethorpe. Both South Yorkshire Police and Barnsley Council express their gratitude and thanks to the local residents for their understanding and support.

The Local Government Boundary Commission wants to hear what you think about the draft proposals for new ward boundaries for Barnsley.
The consultation on the draft recommendations ends on Monday 15 July 2024.
