This Grasshopper Warbler at Castlemorton Common was enjoying the evening sun yesterday.

A beautiful evening to be out birding in south-west Worcestershire.
The Common Crane was still at Longdon Marsh plus at least one Great White Egret (4 reported earlier) and a Red Kite amongst the highlights.
Also a Grasshopper Warbler reeling at Castlemorton Common.

The ghost of Sela!
This incredibly pale Bearded Vulture left us speechless when it glided overhead a few times while we were birding in this high altitude area of #ArunachalPradesh .

Two Northern Wheatears showed incredibly well on the #MalvernHills this morning.
A male on Sugarloaf Hill and a female that showed down to just 4 feet at times on Worcestershire Beacon.
Also a male Lesser Redpoll singing at the top of Happy Valley and 2 Siskins west.

Tibetan Siskin was an unexpected bonus during our time in #ArunachalPradesh .

We had regular Accentor encounters in #ArunachalPradesh , seeing four species.
Clockwise from top left; Alpine, Altai, Robin and Rufous-breasted with the latter being encountered most frequently.

Amazing views of this species when we encountered a flock of six at eye level alongside the main track.

Male Red-fronted Rosefinch at Sela #ArunachalPradesh .
This was by far the scarcest rosefinch species we saw and at 13,700 feet elevation, it was also the highest!

A fabulous White-browed Tit-Warbler at Sela #ArunachalPradesh .
Definitely one of the highlights of the trip and just one of many great birds that we saw in this high altitude wilderness.

Incredible views of two males feeding and wing flicking in the snow just a few metres from our feet at Sela Pass was one of the most unforgettable moments while birding in #ArunachalPradesh .

Jerdon's Babbler was the highlight of birding along the Dibang River #ArunachalPradesh this morning.
Even better was to come later when we saw a female Bengal Florican in flight nearby.
