It was great to connect with the Habematolel Pomo this afternoon to discuss legislative priorities and bills that might impact their community. It was such a pleasure to meet with Chairwoman Sherry Treppa and other representatives to continue to learn more about the Tribe's priorities.

Today I met with the Consumer Attorneys of California to discuss how we can work together to best support consumers and injured parties fighting big polluters, insurance companies, automobile manufacturers and banks. I am passionate about ensuring that our courts remain accessible for all.

My resolution #ACR161 passed out of the Assembly this morning, designating this week as Compost Awareness Week! Composting waste is another way to lighten the load on landfills and improve the soil of lawns, gardens, and other managed ecosystems. Happy #CompostAwarenessWeek !

It was great to connect with Reproductive Freedom for All California today to discuss legislative action to best address the issues most critical to reproductive healthcare access. I am proud to stand for the protection and expansion of reproductive healthcare in California.
