Years ago I painted a tiny icon like painting I called Jesus on the Tube. It took off instantly & became very popular. I am very grateful, & amazed, as it was in the mid 1980s before any internet help. People are still using it, & today is no exception. How wonderful.

When someone we love dies we are plunged into a sadness and grief that we can't properly articulate or explain.

But the world still turns,only we stop, & when we come through this we have a new sense of mystery and understanding.Whether that's positive or negative is up to us.

Though I will be talking about addiction losses, this could be relevant to all loss.

I'm taking the workshop & Addicts exhibition to Glasgow at the end of March for the Cost of Loving event with Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs.

Preparing Costya's grave with daffodils in vodka bottles, for tomorrow's anniversary mass. I found him dead a year ago tomorrow, but I believe he died a year ago today.

After the mass there's a huge lunch at my home. Celebrating life love & the light.
