I think this is an exceptionally important point from the D.C. Circuit that I agree with. No matter what you think of Donald Trump, we would rue the day that criminal defendants cannot use their First Amendment rights to publicly criticize the government for their prosecution.

Folks, the preliminary schedule that the DC circuit set for Trump's 'immunity' appeal, which appears slow, will not actually be the schedule. It's boilerplate/automatic.

At least one side will seek to expedite, and the court will likely grant it.

Trump and allies are working to introduce a data program that'll result in lawful voters' registration being challenged, often due to not owning property- one Georgia county has already opted to use it despite Georgia election officials' skepticism. rollingstone.com/politics/polit…

I would not be shocked if states like Texas start to create abortion courts that have exclusive jurisdiction on individual petitions for relief with an appointment mechanism that'll ensure very conservative oversight.

Breaking: Three days after Kate Cox in TX asked a judge to allow her to get an abortion, a second woman in KY is asking the same. Two test cases for what could become a widely utilized strategy to access abortion care in post-Roe America.
