Every day in Australia, more than 12,500 pigs are forced to suffocate in gas chambers. It's excruciating and terrifying, and we will argue before a Supreme Court Judge — it is also illegal.

Yesterday we went to the Supreme Court of Victoria in the first stage of our landmark legal case challenging the legality of the gas chamber slaughter of pigs. For reasons beyond our control, the proceedings were adjourned and we’re awaiting a new hearing date. More updates soon.

A law that will stop animals from the UK being exported overseas for slaughter has passed the final reading in parliament. The Bill will make the UK the first European country to ban live animal exports, setting a compassionate example for others to follow.

A national declaration signed by representatives from more than 20 First Nations groups says “lethal control should never be an option” for dingoes. It's long past time dingoes receive real protection 🐾

Right now, the pending Federal budget is a major opportunity to cost and lock in the live sheep export phase out.

Tell the Ministers making budget decisions that it's time to deliver on the Albanese government's promise to end this cruel trade: animalsaus.co/3PW6rE9

A survey of Victoria’s duck shooters (conducted by the state’s hunting regulator itself) revealed that 80% of shooters cannot identify species they’re permitted to kill and those who are protected - even in the daylight.

The suffering endured by animals on board the MV Bahijah is neither isolated nor rare – it’s a persistent and pervasive issue demanding urgent action. Tell Labor that it's time to deliver on their promise to end live sheep export. animalsaus.co/3PW6rE9
