The @UCAAN team had a wonderful time at the First 5 Child Health, Education, and Care Summit in March. We informed attendees about free ACEs Aware resources and trainings, including Becoming ACEs Aware in California and Stress Busters.

For #NationalStressAwarenessMonth , we are drawing attention to evidence-based strategies for managing stress, also known as Stress Busters. Stress Busters have been shown to improve brain health and immune function and balance stress hormones.

This May, the Office of the California Surgeon General will launch the ACEs and Toxic Stress Healing-Centered awareness campaign, which aims to drive awareness about ACEs and connect young adults with healing strategies.
The campaign has been informed by the ACEs Aware Youth and Young Adult Advisory Council.
