I assisted Nate Oats at Five-Star Basketball camp stations back in 2001 when he coached at Romulus High School. He kept the doors to his program open during the years we were both in Buffalo. Glad to see a loyal and genuine coach earn his way to the Final Four!

In the summer of '68, a 27-year-old Bob Knight -- then Head Coach at West Point -- introduced the concept of 'Stations' at Five-Star, which cemented the camp's teaching-first focus and ultimate trajectory as a beacon of basketball instruction.
