Yesterday, hundreds of University of New Haven workers and other members of Local 217 UNITE HERE joined together to demand UNH settle a fair contract NOW. UNH facilities workers deserve fair wages, affordable healthcare, and a safe workplace! And if we don't get it? SHUT IT DOWN.

A few days ago, we emailed President Roth asking him to meet with us to talk about how Wesleyan can help ensure dining workers receive equal treatment on our campus. Spoiler alert: he said no. But we have a few notes on his response… (1/2)
