At our Options Fair, teachers and current Sixth Form students showcased the exciting range of A-Levels and Level 3 BTECs available. There was a real buzz and lots of great conversations about the subjects people are considering. Creative Media students captured these vox pops.

Mr Bonner's Third Form Science class have been experimenting with different chemical reactions. In this slow-mo clip made by pupil Aiden S, we see an effervescent dissolvable vitamin C tablet reacting with water to create carbon dioxide gas, creating a fizz. #LearnDifferently

Yesterday, the Classical Civilisation A-level class went to London. After time at the British Museum in the morning - followed by a Pizza Express lunch - they enjoyed watching the UCL Greek & Latin Department’s modern take on Euripides’ ‘Bacchae’ at the theatre. #LearnDifferently

Well done to Damer House, who held a doughnut sale for ActionAid UK: giving everyone an end-of-half-term treat while raising exactly £408.50 for the charity. With thanks to Krispy Kreme UK 'Doughnuts for Charity' programme, which ensures larger donations can go to charities.

In their last Life Drawing co-curricular session of the half-term, Sixth Form artists experimented with the monoprint medium, to create this series of lifelike portraits of the model. #LearnDifferently

Our final #SaferInternetDay post by Lexi and Eliza features lots of our Childnet Digital Leaders. It raises awareness of how important social media is for international pupils: keeping in touch with their family when they're at school, and their MA friends when they're at home.

Our second post for #SaferInterNet day is by by Jamie T and Ed N, playfully adapting an iconic movie poster. Our Childnet Digital Leaders felt sometimes parents aren’t aware how all-consuming social media can be and that teenagers don't always keep their screen-time in check.
